Woman Listens to Music at W. Potomac Park: Mayday 1971

One young, female Vietnam War protester listens to rock concert at West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. on May 1, 1971 on the first official day of protest organized by the Mayday tribe.

 

The Mayday Tribe organized an attempt to shut down the U.S. government in Washington, D.C. in protest of the continued war in Indochina May 3-5, 1971.
