Part of the crowd of 40,000 that gathered at West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. on May 1, 1971 that would attempt a shutdown of the government two days later.
The Mayday Tribe organized an attempt to shut down the U.S. government in Washington, D.C. in protest of the continued war in Indochina May 3-5, 1971.
