Human Pyramid in Crowd of 50,000: Mayday 1971

Part of the crowd that gathered May 1, 1971 in West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C. in advance of planned demonstrations to shut down the U.S. government.

 

The Mayday Tribe organized an attempt to shut down the U.S. government in Washington, D.C. in protest of the continued war in Indochina May 3-5, 1971.
