355-A zebra in Brixton

The giraffe in the telephone box was a bit weird, but this is even more bizarre. However this time, it's the real thing as Mr Gustav-Greis guides his zebra and trap along a road in Brixton, which at that time was an affluent area of London. The period is around 1912, or maybe a bit later and although there is plenty of activity, no-one seems to be taking any notice of this unusual mode of transport. But I think Bridget Riley would approve
