They peer at you from within
Even though the Least Bitterns are a different color from the reeds that they inhabit, they are still difficult to spot and a challenge to approach and capture. This little reed rocket stayed put and kept a watchful eye on that approaching canoe on Horsepen Bayou. They are gone for the winter months, but will return in the spring.
