Not a happy camper

We always try to impose our feelings on animals like this and I’m not sure that they any type of feelings or if its merely instinctive reactions dictated by millions of years of evolution. The expression on the face is always the same and the reactions are always unpredictable. This lumpy lizard merely slid slowly off into the bayou to my right. I told him he had a muddy nose, but his poker face never changed. Never play poker with an alligator….they always eat the cards. Photo taken on Horsepen Bayou and roughly 10 feet long.

Just a not to all of my contacts. After I posted this shot yesterday, Flickr locked up and I could not comment on anyone’s photos and could not access any of my photos either. When I attempted to open a photo, it would not resolve on the screen and I could not sign out of Flickr. Things seem to be back to normal this morning and I’ll try to get to everyone’s photos ASAP!! Thank you for your comments thank you for patience as well. Enjoy your day.
