How do you recognize a tourist?

—in a big group

—wearing unusual clothes

—men carrying bags

—taking selfies with phones

—carrying an ILC

… and, if you’re a pickpocket,

—anyone who wasn’t here every day for the last two years.

I shake my head in disbelief at people who say “This camera/lens/technique is inconspicuous for street photography”. The truth is closer to “I know your plans don’t include me.”
