Light Air

Dawn breaks on a Utah Juniper at the rim of Bryce Canyon. The altitude is about 9000ft, 2700m, and I was definitely feeling a little altitude sickness. Worth it to catch this Maxfield Parrish light filtering through Juniperus osteosperma, known locally as Utah Cedar, or Shaggy-barked Utah Juniper.

I’m jumping around to provide variety in our tour of the parks in the Grand Staircase-Escalante.
