I was lucky enough to get a little time at the Riverbanks zoo in Columbia, SC, while I was there for my daughter's college graduation (in May of 2014). It was actually her idea to go and walk around. I think she knew I would have a blast (zoos are one of my favorite places to go!).

This is one of the two Koalas they have at the zoo. Both of them were resting, but who cares, they are so cute anyway.
