She made her professional operatic debut in Gounod's Roméo et Juliette at the Paris Opéra's headquarters, the Palais Garnier, in 1889.
# Charles Reutlinger [1816-1881] was the founder of one of the most prominent Parisian photographic establishments, Reutlinger Studios, which operated from 1850 to 1937. The studio became famous for its portraits of the actors, artists, musicians, composers, opera singers etc. From 1880 the studio was run by his brother Emile Reutlinger.
