Having made her stage debut as Emma in Rossini's Zelmira in Bologna in 1828 she later created three major roles at world premières -
'Adalgisa' a priestess in Bellini's opera Norma on 26th Dec 1831 at La Scala, Milan.
'Elvira' in Bellini's opera I puritani on 24th Jan 1835 at the Théâtre-Italien, Paris.
'Norina' in Donizetti's opera Don Pasquale on 3rd Jan 1843 by the Théâtre-Italien at the Salle Ventadour in Paris.
