ICTT, Kochi

This image is one from a series of shots of the ICTT, or the International Container Transshipment Terminal, Cochin, India. The facility, from what I'm told, stands on soil that is under the complete control of a Dubai based company. But that was hardly what fascinated me. My eye was caught by the enthralling glimmer of those large halogen lights in the water, every evening and the leviathan cranes that dominated the skyline right across it from our hotel.

It made for a scene that I could hardly look away from while taking pictures and I found myself at the waterfront more times than I can count, shooting it. For me it was an huge opportunity to try out the 60D's long exposure capabilities (Magic Lantern installed) and I have to say, it didn't disappoint at all.

This was shot at 29mm (1.6x crop factor not included); 4 minutes @ f/29 & ISO 100.
