Welcome to the Free Workshop on Robot Theatre & Performance. Here you will participate with following participants of the robot performance festival Cafe Neu Romance 2016:
1) Suguru Goto (JPN) is a media artist, an inventor and a performer and he is considered one of the most innovative and the mouthpiece of a new generation of Japanese artists.
He is highly connected to technical experimentation in the artistic field and to the extension of the existing potentialities in the relation man-machine.
2) Fabrice Noreils (FRA) got his PhD in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in 1989 At LAAS-CNRS Paul Sabatier University - France and published more than 30 articles in the field of mobile robotics.
3) Sven Stumm (GER) is is currently leading the robotic programming research team at the chair for Individualized Production in architecture at RWTH Aachen University.
4) Phil Ayres (DNK/GBR) is an architect, researcher and educator at CITA, Copenhagen, Denmark.
5) Professor Edward Scheer (AUS) is Director of Research in the School of the Arts and Media at the University of New South Wales, Australia.
6) Cody Poulton (CAN) is Professor of Japanese literature and theatre, and currently a Fellow at the International Research Center, "Interweaving Performance Cultures," at Berlin Freie Universität, preparing a book on "Transhumanities in Japanese Theatre: spirits, animals, technology."
7) Elizabeth Jochum (USA) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Psychology at Aalborg University, Denmark and the co-founder of Robot Culture and Aesthetics research group at the University of Copenhagen.
