A portrait of an acquaintance wearing his bow tie, shot on Midsummer's Eve. Doesn't he look like a tortured but struggeling writer from the 1920s? I keep thinking about Henry Miller, even though Miller looked nothing like this. Even the young Hemingway would be a better match. Or perhaps a fictional character – perhaps Dorian Gray?
