Straight at Ya

The burrowing owl in flight shot was a shot that had eluded me for a long time. I made several attempts this winter to get it, and after coming up with only perched multiple times I finally got the flight shot I desired. The bird was on the ground for half an hour or so before taking off to a perch directly my direction. Out of all the shots I got in the sequence this was the only sharp and in focus one. I was extremely excited to finally get a shot of one in flight. I would have preferred a cleaner file, with less wing blur, but the lighting was low and bird far away so I was unable to perfectly freeze the wings. Looking forward to getting a cleaner shot next year.
