My fairy tale castle
The Lion's Castle Löwenburg is picturesquely situated in Park Wilhelmshöhe. It presents itself as a strong medieval fortress. Ruins of neo-Gothic Löwenburg Castle built around 1800. Löwenburg Castle has a number of medieval features such as a moat and a drawbridge. Inside, the castle is filled with genuine medieval furniture and a number of rare and unique objects: altar slabs, medieval glass windows from churches and abbeys, weapons and armour, bronze statues and much more besides.

Kasteel Löwenburg staat in het Wilhelmshöhe Park en ziet eruit als een sterke middeleeuwse vesting. De ruïnes van neogotisch Kasteel Löwenburg zijn gebouwd rond 1800. Het middeleeuwse kasteel heeft een gracht en daarbij horende ophaalbrug. Binnen het kasteel staat nog echt middeleeuws meubilair en een aantal zeldzame en unieke voorwerpen: een altaar, middeleeuwse glas vensters, wapens en brons standbeelden en nog veel meer.
