Vernazza is a town and commune located in the province of La Spezia, Liguria, northwestern Italy. It is one of the five towns in the Cinque Terre region. Vernazza is the fourth town heading north into the Cinque Terre. It has no car traffic and remains one of the truest "fishing villages" on the Italian Riviera.

Vernazza is opgenomen in de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO. Het gebied bereikbaar met de trein en boot langs de steile kust. Er loopt een wandelpad dat de vijf dorpjes met elkaar verbindt: de Via Dell'Amore. Vernazza telt ongeveer 570 huishoudens. Het aantal inwoners daalde in de periode 1991-2001 met 8,4% volgens cijfers uit de tienjaarlijkse volkstellingen van ISTAT.
