Streets, Chefchaouen, Morocco

This was a tough task to choose one photo "Your Best Shot of 2016" competition. This was a VERY interesting year for me. A lot of new destinations as well as some of the places I've been to before. A LOT of pictures taken during those trips. By this date I have just here on Flickr:

180+ - Kids' Dance and Equesterian Competition photos. And probably 5x as much more to go through.

400+ - London, UK business trip in January

630+ - Tanzania - Kilimanjaro Climb and Safari - my first trip to Africa

410+ - Antigua - family trip during Spring Break with amazing beaches, sunrises and sunsets

510+ - Portugal, Spain and Morocco - summer family trip to cover last region of Spain we haven't been to - Malaga and Cadiz - as well as trip through beautiful Algarve and checking out Morocco (where this photo is from). Didn't get to process and organize photos from Portugal and part of Spain.

100+ - Kiev and Kharkov, Ukraine - business trip to my birth place with some time to meet family and friends.

140+ - San Diego - 2-day business trip.

Each of those have at least one or more photos that I like, but this is my choice.

This was our 2nd day in Morocco. After first day we were somewhat uneasy about safety of Chefchaouen, I think it was more of us just not being accustom to this country than actual situation there as it was quite different from all places we've been to in Europe. Anyways, that morning I left early, while everyone was still sleeping and just went to explore a city as we didn't get a chance to see much the prior day. And it definitely didn't disappoint. It's simply paradise for photographer - you can turn any direction and there will be a perfect view to take a photo and this was the one I liked the most.
