An old friend we were visiting in Sussex happened to be delayed, so we dropped by Groombridge Place. Unfortunately the last admissions were at 3.30, but we sat in the field adjoining the car park and had some tea - then this beauty showed up! Other peacocks I've met have been very shy, but this one came right over and ate from my hand!
