Fireworks

Celebration of light is an annual musical fireworks competition held in Vancouver since 1990. Every year different countries compete and showcase their best pyrotechniques. You can learn more about this competition here www.celebration-of-light.com/

The pictures in this set were taken on the last day of the competition, where China put up a mesmerizing fireworks display. All these pictures were taking using a Nikon D300s with Nikon 55-200mm VR lens mounted on a tripod and the shutter was released with a nikon mc-30 shutter release cable. A ton of thanks to my friend, Shankar Subram for showing me low-light photography techniques.
