Last legs
I guess I did more video than I recalled last year. Up at camp I decided to document some of my roadwork I've been doing. The equipment for this task is quite old and obsolete, both the dump truck and the skidsteer. Like the movie cliché where the grizzled detective has "one last job to do" I've tried to get my road done before either died.
This video shows yours truly loading the truck at my pit. Yes, there is a limited tare weight on this tired old truck. It may have been the last rodeo for the loader, last month when I went to use it an axle snapped. Unless I can find that part for a 45 year old machine it's loaded its last bucket of sand and gravel.
