Yellowstone Majesty
I did nab the ML passing the Columbus depot but the light was marginal. A quick turnout on the old highway provided this pleasing view. Flaherty Flat along the Yellowstone River is a fertile and level area but not without its challenges. 2022 saw damaging flooding along the Yellowstone from the park through south central Montana. Above the 4306 is a shed undercut and damaged by the rampaging river. I always like incorporating the Yellowstone into views on the eastern MRL. The rivers 692 miles comprise the longest free-flowing river in the continental US. September 7, 2023.
