Bending the Iron
Having waited out an eastbounder that can still be seen banging across the Minnesota Commercial diamond, this local job bends the iron to get back on the St. Paul Sub. They just completed switching the warehouses along Kasota Ave and are climbing out of the hole to run wrong main on the way back to Northtown.
My "mobile study hall" aka GMC pickup can be seen in the background. Bought in August of the previous year, it was a Michigan DOT truck that I and gave a quick cleaning and coat of paint. I ran short of time and was headed back to school before the tailgate received it's coat of maroon so it stayed grey until the following summer. February 17, 1994.
