Pentacon Six TL w/ Carl Zeiss Jena Biometar 80mm f/2.8 and Fujifilm Neopan Acros (Kodak Xtol 1:0, Ilford rapid fixer). f/4, 1/250s. Epson V600 and EpsonScan @ 4800 dpi, downsized to 2400 dpi. Retouched and cropped.
Shooting film really forces you to up your game. After a while, especially when you start getting a backlog, you get a bit tired of waiting for you film to dry in the darkroom or those 1½-3 hours it takes to scan a roll of film (Not to mention to find that time!).
After a while you start to question whether the stuff you shot on the roll you're working with is really worth your time and effort. If the answer is a hesitant "Maybe" - it's time to up your game. It's time to get better and more selective with that you do.
When you really put your heart and soul into something, being able to say no to things that only boarderline interest you is imperial to not getting sufficated.
That said, I really enjoyed working with this model. It's not everyday you get the chance to work with a professional fashion model for free. I got more agency shoots in the pipeline.
