Vesper bluet, adult female
In spite of our lousy weather and two cold nights in a row - the Vesper bluets showed up yesterday! This is probably the rarest ode we get in our yard. Last year they showed up on May 18. There were two adult males and this female. I'll post a male tomorrow. I hope they're back this morning!
