version3point1 says: I see this guy almost everyday. Some people who don't know him are scared of him because of all his tattoos and piercings, but he is one of the nicest Train Operators I know. He's a bit mad, but that's all part of the lovely personality. He is a keen cyclist and does a lot of long distance cycling. London to Brighton? He's probably done it.

version3point1 says: I miss the old canteen in North Greenwich Train Crew. All the seats would've been filled and there would've been a general air of banter, good chatter and company. When the canteen moved over to the new Fleet House Train Crew in Stratford, all of that kind of died away because of the change to duties and where meal reliefs were had (most of the East End boys have their grub up at Wembley these days). Sometimes it's nice when it's peaceful like this though. North Greenwich never had any windows because it was underground, and on days like these, sometimes it's nice to just bask in the afternoon sun with a paper and a nice cup of tea.

version3point1 says: The Underground has attracted all sorts of folks from all walks of life, especially those from the Armed Forces. Always wearing shorts, snow or sun, Sean came to LU after previously serving the Army as a paratrooper. So, naturally, he's mad.

version3point1 says: To driving new ones! You'd be surprised how long some guys have been around on the job. It's one of those jobs where the years just pass you by without you even knowing it happened.

version3point1 says: The new signalling on the Jubilee line means new things to look out for. 'RM Hold' boards, a new TOD (Train Operator's Display) and the fact we won't be seeing red or green aspects anymore... because they're shelving them!
