Farringdon, Platform 2, headwall
My recent obsession with that shade of yellow (that I have dubbed "engineering yellow") and varying shades around it has led onto a new obsession with the various (and seemingly, mostly disused) arrays of platform headwall/tailwall furniture and communications equipment.
Also – one thing I have noticed about the Metropolitan line, especially in the City, is the inordinate amount of those SPT indicator lights (whatever they're called), something I never really saw on the Piccadilly line. I find them quite cute and would like to see one work just for the sake of it.
