Week 12, Day 2
Waiting patiently at the inlet shunt, the squall line predicted for London hits right on schedule, bringing with it some awful winds and heavy rain. The rain was relentless - the worst I'd seen in months – and it was even worse to drive in. Visibility and rail adhesion was poor, and it didn't help that the kids from Gunnersbury School were messing about on the platform when I pulled into Northfields either.
