high speed flurry

I guess if I was in a hurry to get to work and the train times were running more or less in my favour, the high speed option to Stratford seems quite good. And seeing as it only costs me £3.55 one-way, it's a very good option. Mad that – £3.55 for a single ticket on a high speed train, yet it costs £4 to get into Zone 1.

Being dumped off at Stratford International though is a bit of a deflating feeling. For starters, you're dumped off in what can only be considered as 'wasteland', and then you've got to navigate this on a shuttle bus that takes you to the railway station, which is so poorly laid out, not that any of the non-existent signage helps anybody.
