Location
Paddington Station: Platform 15, looking out to Platforms 10 and 11
Notes
10 January 1863 saw the Metropolitan Railway opening the first underground railway (that's right - the first). It ran from Bishop's Road (Paddington) to Farringdon. The platforms that served that part of the line are what we now know as the District and Circle Line branch, which is on the North side of the mainline station (I think it's North - probably actually, as it runs under Praed Street).
Platforms 15 and 16, which serve the Hammersmith and City Line, were originally shared with the Great Western Railway and the Metropolitan Line, back in the day.
Please don't steal.
