He was wide awake when we were both standing on Platform 2 at Baker Street waiting for the UXB. When it pulled in, we both walked to the same doorway and when the doors opened, he stepped aside and looked at me to allow me to board before him. I mouthed a thank you (as I was plugged into my iPhone at the time) and we both took our respective seats on the train.
As soon as he sat down, he was spark out. He looked so tired. He was still asleep when I got off the train at Eastcote. I was worried he might've missed his stop and I wanted to wake him up at Harrow-on-the-Hill, just to ask where he was getting off, but I guess you can't trust anybody these days, so I just left him to it.
