Had to go to the Hainault Depot office building thing as part of my light duties this week (as mail person / general work lacky). But unlike most sideline buildings where you can just go to a staff walkway or whatever to get there, with the Hainault Depot I actually had to leave the poxy station and enter the wiles of Essex, which I was none too pleased about.
Then of course there was the stupidness that ensued when I managed to get there, only to find that the gated entry required either a code or for one to buzz in – only nobody answered my buzzing. I was saved eventually by member of the train crew who was booking off and leaving via the gate, thus allowing me to gain entry to the complex.
Then to get to the offices on the 2nd floor, I had to get into a lift with a space of 1m square, which had padded walls! WTF?!
