Something is missing
I wonder what happened to it... For shame. The platform has been refurbished, but the tiles traded in for lifeless metal panelling; the soul of the platforms traded in for a cheaper alternative.
And what became of the roundel? (And the rest of them?) Most probably thrown into a skip. In my honest opinion, I believe that there are lots of people willing to give tiles, roundels and other bits and bobs ripped out from station refurbs a good home. LUL should sell all these lovely things off at some sort of auction and the money should go to the upkeep of the LT Museum and the Acton Town Depot, or done for a charity's sake or something.
(I bet you if I suggest this to somebody at LUL or TfL (and god forbid, anybody in the PPP) they'd think I'd just invented the fucking wheel.)
