Culloden Viaduct

Facebook | Instagram | 500px | Twitter | Website

After navigating off a B-road onto some zig-zag single-track roads that climbed to an unknown summit, we got a glimpse of a train heading back to Inverness over the Culloden Viaduct.

Pretty awesome for something that was opened in 1898. There used to be a railway station on the northern end of the viaduct, but that is closed now.

The sun also decided to make an appearance, seeing as we didn't really see much of it this week!
