Tanzania - The Pemba Flying Fox (Pteropus voeltzkowi) is a species of megabat and the largest in the world. These very large bats (up to 650 grammes and 1.85 meters of wingspan) is endemic to the island of Pemba in Tanzania. Their natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests.
