German Bauer "Weltmeister" c.1958 1st hand
This is a very nice Bauer top model from the late 1950's from its first owner. The frame is made from Reynolds 531 and with the typical Bauer chrome lugs. Frame size is 58cm (center-top), top tube length is 57cm.
Front derailleur: Simplex; Rear derailleur: Campagnolo Gran Sport; Crankset: cottered steel; Stem: Titan; Bars: Scheeren; Brakeset: Weinmann 730; Saddle: Brooks
Fitted with period correct Bluemel's, pump and (rusty) Simplex bottle cage.
Only the wheelset with Sunshine hubs from the 1970's is not original!
