Northern checkerspot butterflies and other lepidoptera on milkweed

Lava Beds National Monument, located in the California interior, Klamath Valley, near the southern border of California, was the most desert-like, dry area we visited on this trip, yet it supports blooming flora and the insects that depend on that plant life.

Done
