Kakadu National Park
Jim Jim Falls - once agin these had dried up just before the start of the wet season. The lower part of the river running from the falls is inhabited by Crocs - but further up stream, near and in the plunge pool you are allowed to swim as it is too cold for the crocs who need a min of 33 degrees to survive - whew that was a relief although to be honest after the walk up and the heat I prob would have gone for a swim anyway!
whilst sunbathing with my feet in the water one of these fish decided to take a rather large chunk of dry skin off a blister on my foot - surprised the bejesus out of my let me tell you!
