A Christian church of the basilic type. The monument is named conditionally according to the year of opening.
Before the construction of the basilica, there was a synagogue building in its place, built at the end of the IV century. To this building belong the finds of a plate with the image of a minor, frescoes with inscriptions in Hebrew and a section of mosaic floor.

До строительства базилики на её месте существовало здание синагоги, построенное в конце IV в. Этому зданию принадлежат находки плиты с изображением миноры, фрески с надписями на иврите и участок мозаичного пола.
