Here We Go Again

Pancake and I decided to call it a day and just go home. A minute from the house we spotted this car which had just crashed head-on into a tree.
Out from the house on this property walks this delightful gentleman - a neighbor I have never met. He said he was in the kitchen looking out the window having his morning coffee when he saw this car run across the front lawn and smack into this tree. As he went outside to see if the driver was alive and ok there was still smoke from the airbags exploding (as designed). He says cars running into the property and house is a frequent occurrence so he tends to look out front often when he's not working outside. He administered first aid and called 911.The 1st responders did arrive on the scene to transport the driver to the hospital. We laughed as we compared notes on "the neighborhood" and didn't realize how many allies we had.
This 6 acre tract had a beautiful 30 year old dogwood out front. The dogwood was plowed down by a passing car also.
Not sure why Flickr's map says this is Oldham County. Last I'd heard this was Jefferson County.
