U.S. Marshals Service personnel alongside local law enforcement officers joined the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation in providing mentorship opportunities to more than 100 at-risk youth in support of its annual Badges for Baseball mentoring program at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md., June 16, 2022. Badges for Baseball was created in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Justice and pairs kids with law enforcement mentors from local communities to play baseball and learn important life lessons about teamwork, communication, self-esteem and leadership while building healthy relationships between inner-city youth and law enforcement.
