This year the U.S. Embassy marked our Independence Day a little early with a celebration in Phnom Penh last Friday night of American and Cambodian innovation.
We highlighted Vann Molyvann, Angkor Wat, young Cambodians who are pushing Cambodia's economy in bold directions, and the partnerships between our two countries.
"This affinity for innovation is one of our greatest shared values and remains at the heart of our best partnerships," Chargé d’Affaires Michael Newbill said at the event. "Supporting innovation, science and technology, and research will remain central to our programs and partnerships in Cambodia."
