Northwestern School of Law students visited Uruguay
Second year students from Northwestern School of Law visited Uruguay this March to do field research on the country's economy, and the impact of the agricultural sector.
They met with authorities from the American Embassy in Montevideo, among other entities, to discuss the embassy's role in the country and their thoughts on Uruguay's trade policies within Mercosur and internationally.
Students will also be visiting Argentina for one week before returning to Chicago to report on Mercosur dynamics, genetically modified beans, environmental issues, wine export regulations, and oil and renewable energy.
