COLUMBIA, Ky. -- U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Under Secretary for Rural Development Donald “DJ” LaVoy announced Jan. 29, 2020, USDA has invested over $55.3 million in four high-speed broadband infrastructure projects in rural Kentucky. Gibson EMC will use a $32 million ReConnect Program loan to deploy a fiber-to-the-premises network in rural Fulton, Graves and Hickman counties in Kentucky, and in Dyer, Lake, Obion and Weakley counties in Tennessee.
