Gen. Daniel B. Allyn, commanding general, U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) hosted an Assumption of Responsibility Ceremony today for Command Sgt. Maj. Scott C. Schroeder, 53, who assumed duties as the FORSCOM command sergeant major. Schroeder returns to Fort Bragg, where he had served previously with the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, deploying to Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Schroeder's most recent assignment was as the command sergeant major for III Corps and Fort Hood at Fort Hood, Texas.
