Lt. Col. Jon Gardner assumes command of U.S. Army Garrison Casey
At a change-of-command ceremony inside the Carey Physical Fitness Center on Camp Casey in Dongducheon July 27, Lt. Col. Jon Gardner assumes command of U.S. Army Garrison Casey, replacing Lt. Col. Edward D. Eldridge, who commanded the garrison for the past two years and moves to a new assignment. Gardner’s previous assignment was with Special Operations Command-Europe, where he served as the Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Division chief. In a separate award ceremony shortly before the change-of-command, Eldridge received the Combined Forces Command Deputy Commander’s Medal, presented by Lt. Col.
