Red Ribbon Week kicks off
Maj. Bruce Townley from USAG-Humphreys signed a proclamation Oct. 26 at Humphreys American School kicking off Red Ribbon Week. The school is celebrating Red Ribbon Week Oct. 26-30.
The proclamation signed by the USAG-Humphreys command encourages community members to wear and display red ribbons and participate in drug-free activities throughout the week.
Throughout the week, students are participating in special activities such as: Red to remember (wear red day), turn your back on drugs (wear clothes backwards), combat drugs (wear military gear/camouflage), team up against drugs (wear sports uniforms/jerseys), and being drug free is no sweat (wear sweatshirts/sweatpants).
