Vice Adm. Robert B. Murrett congratulates Letitia A. Long on her appointment as the NGA
FORT BELVOIR NORTH AREA, Va. —U.S. Navy Vice Adm. Robert B. Murrett congratulates Letitia A. Long on her appointment as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) director here Aug. 9, 2010. Murrett is the outgoing director of NGA. Long comes to NGA from the Defense Intelligence Agency, where she served as the deputy director from May 2006 until July 2010. The ceremony was held on the site of NGA Campus East (NCE), a 2005 Base Realignment and Closure project which will consolidate various offices of NGA into a single campus here.
