District honors project manager in farewell
Vanessa Bishop, a Europe District project manager, is presented the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service by Col. Matthew Tyler, district commander, during a farewell ceremony Sept. 16 at the Amelia Earhart Center in Wiesbaden, Germany. Bishop, who joined the Environmental Branch in January 2008, distinguished herself as an invaluable asset to colleagues, stakeholders and partners. She provided exceptional support to Army garrisons in Wiesbaden and Baumholder; the Final Governing Standards and Environmental Performance Assessment System programs; and many other challenging projects.
