SEPANGAR, Malaysia (Oct. 7, 2014) – U.S. Naval officers speak with officers of the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) during a visit to the office of RMN Submarine Force Commander, Rear Adm. Abdul Rahman Bin HJ Ayob, far left, Oct. 7. Frank Cable's visit to Malaysia is intended to help promote stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region, while demonstrating commitment and fostering a growing relationship with the RMN. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility and is currently on a scheduled underway period.
